Blue Origin launches six tourists to the edge of space after 2 years

The frontier booster successfully landed minutes before the capsule, which at the time was 62 miles above the Earth’s surface, in the zone where outer space begins. Passengers enjoyed several minutes of weightlessness and impressive views of our planet from the windows of the capsule.

The successful launch follows the failure of an unmanned scientific flight in December, the first since an accident more than a century ago. Repairs and improvements to the rocket and spacecraft have allowed Blue Origin to resume flights for space tourists, continuing its impressive string of successful missions.

This technological advancement and successful missions open a new chapter in the history of space tourism and contribute to the development of the commercial space industry
