Elon Musk and Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin held a ceremony to launch SpaceX’s satellite internet service at a public health center in Denpasar, expanding internet access to remote parts of the country. The Starlink service is already available in three medical centers, including centers on the islands of Bali and Aru in Maluku.
Elon Musk has stressed the importance of internet connectivity for millions of Indonesians, especially in remote locations. He noted that access to the Internet provides the opportunity for education and self-development, which is of great importance for society. Starlink enables real-time data entry, which improves efficiency in addressing health problems such as stunting and malnutrition.
